Book Review: fastread Personal Finance

From Amazon!
"Money is an integral part of our lives and to be in control of its effects on your present and future is a significant step towards happiness."

-Personal Finance (Part of the "fastread" series of books, p.ix)
Adams Media Corporation

Pros

I highly recommend this book for beginners because it's like so concise, it actually only took me about half an hour to read through. It's great to get an overview of a lot of the key personal finance topics out there. Overall, the information is great and if you only read one personal finance book in your life (and only wanted to spend an hour reading it), this would probably be the one I'd recommend.

Cons

There is some vocabulary that seems "old" to me because this is the first book I've read that's used the vocabulary that it did (and I've read a lot). This is probably due to the fact that it was published in 2001, and some stuff seems to have changed since then. I mean, the book talks about America Online (AOL) for you nineties babies.

Verdict

Great for beginners, a must-read for anyone who wants the most concise information about personal finance.
