Recap: August

It's been a great month.
Hey guys,

I've decided to start doing a recap post at the beginning of each month so that new readers (I'm very hopeful) will see what they've missed and go back and read about topics they're interested in.

Here's what I did in August:

I reviewed two books that I think everyone should read - one was about simple money rules to follow and the other was a great book aimed at hip college students

I talked a lot about my personal finances, including: work study (a type of job offered on college campuses), this thing called Mint that I use to track my money, more people who influence the way I think about money, personal finance blogs I read, and what I DON'T DO when it comes to money.

I also gave some advice on how to save and what kinds of investment options we have as personal investors.

This is the last recap post, so actual posts with actual information are going to start this coming Monday.

Please let me know if there's anything you'd like to learn more about!

Thanks for reading,
Joan
